I am a Full Professor and Director of San Jose State University’s School of Information and am beginning my 22nd year in information technology, library and information Science, and instructional technology as a university faculty member. One year at SJSU’s iSchool, 15 years at UNCG, and six years as a non-tenure track faculty member at FSU while earning my doctorate. I am also a strategic planning and evaluation consultant and CEO of Strategic Performance Systems, LLC (note there are two companies of the same name nationally – I’m the one in North Carolina) and have worked with libraries all across the country including North Carolina, Alaska, Arizona, and Montana.
I am committed to teaching, researching, and actively applying best practices in libraries and information science and instructional technology inside and outside the walls of traditional libraries and digital spaces. I pride myself in seamless integration of research, teaching, and service and view true “success” in life as helping others become successful.
